Church Wedding

Emily & Garek celebrated their marriage in November 2021 in front of family and friends at the historic Plaza Hotel in Daytona Beach, FL. The couple had a specific vision of a Great Gatsby themed wedding. I was so happy they enlisted me to help organize the glitz, glamour, and fun!

Emily had a specific vision for using The Plaza Hotels beautiful lobby with tall columns and high ceilings for the wedding ceremony. Rachel Kasie Designs helped bring the vision to life with white, flowing draping as well as hundreds of candles lining the aisle and behind the wedding party. Emily picked out a reflective isle runner to really provide an extra layer of sophistication. It was truly one of the most gorgeous and romantic ceremony spaces I have been a part of.

Emily’s stepfather officiated the ceremony and added an extra layer of personal touches to make the ceremony so sentimental.

After the ceremony, family and friends all dressed in 20s era clothes gathering for cocktails and dinner in the Grand Ballroom. The dinner was overseen by the fabulous staff at The Plaza Hotel. The nights festivities were topped off with the cutting of the cake made by Kristen Roberts and a dance party led by DJ Bob from Pyramid DJ. One epic moment was a live video edit of the ceremony by Respective Collective. This was such a unique experience and let everyone see touching behind the scenes footage leading up to and including the “I Do’s”.

I was so happy to be apart of this special day and make Emily & Garek’s dream wedding come to life. It is a special night I will never forget!
